GREENCASTLE -- Mrs. Lorean Detro, 68, of Rt. 3, Greencastle, died early Wednesday morning in University Hospital at Indianapolis. A member of the Old Dunkard Church at Clinton Falls, she operated the switchboard at Brick Chapel the last 16 1/2 years it was in existence. Born Nov. 19, 1903 in Putnam County near Clinton Falls, she was a daughter of Charles W. and Helen Newgent Maddox. She married Roy R. Detro Fe b. 4, 1924. Survivors include the husband; a son, Roy L. of Sherman, Tex.; two daughters, Mrs. Katherine Clark of Bainbridge and Mrs. Marjorie Perry of Russellville, and nine grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by an infant daughter and a son, Charles. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Friday at Hopkins-Walton Funeral Home in Greencastle, with burial in Clinton Falls Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home.   ---waw
